Our breakfast – the heart of the house
At a bed & breakfast, breakfast has to be right – which is why we take extra time over it every morning.
Breakfast is served in our old farmhouse parlour dating from around 1850 – with a panelled wooden ceiling, a tiled stove and plenty of history.

We cook your eggs fresh and bring them straight to your table – just the way you like them.
Generous buffet
Sweet and savoury: fresh pastries, strudel and cakes, muesli, speck, cheese, vegetables, fruit and yoghurt. Nobody leaves the table hungry.
Proper espresso coffee
Your cappuccino doesn’t come from a vending machine – it’s freshly made on our portafilter espresso machine, with latte art.
Three generations of hospitality
It all began with our grandmother: she built Pension Aichner. Our grandfather was a blacksmith – “Schmied” in German – which is where our sister house, Chalet Schmied, gets its name. Back then there was also a small farm with animals and a large hay barn.
Sadly, our grandfather passed away early, when our mother was still a little girl. From then on, grandmother and mother pulled through together and built up the business step by step. Today, in the third generation, we carry on what the two of them created with so much strength.
Rather than an anonymous hotel, you’ll find an authentic, traditional house with a personal atmosphere and hosts who always have time for you.

After a hike or a day on the slopes there’s nothing better than warmth, peace and a view of the mountains. We share our spa with our sister house, Chalet Schmied – and it’s one of the best parts of your stay.

Our bar is open from 2 pm to 6.30 pm: for coffee and a slice of cake after your hike, or an aperitivo before the evening begins.

Modern, spacious holiday apartments with kitchenette. For the chalet we reused almost all the wood from our old hay barn – which gives the apartments their special charm. Breakfast can be booked on request.

Terenten – the sunny village in the Puster Valley
Terenten sits on a sunny plateau above the Puster Valley, roughly halfway between Brixen and Bruneck. In summer there are hiking trails, alpine huts and the earth pyramids; in winter Kronplatz is just a short drive away.
